Now you already got RAM Doubler, you still need more memory space?
Try this ugly hackling.
With it you can patch RAM Doubler versions 1.0.4, 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 or so (anyway you should upgrade to 1.5.2).
For older versions, maybe better use the program "MaxRAM" (written by someone else).
How do i:
Launch Pump and select the RAM Doubler init file you want to patch (can be the active one) which is living in the extensions folder inside the System Folder.
A dialog will come up, etc.pp. .
Pump patches the init file in place, so you know what to do first. †
Due to changes in the algorithm (and extraordinary laze of mine) you can only set factors of 2, 4, 8, and 16 for versions ≥1.5.1; maybe i change this some X-mas.
Pump won't help you with your fancy PowerPC -- it/i only knows of the 68K code.
The factor input is *really funny* by accident (see: Laze of mine), but with the right tactics you'll get it typed in.
